Today is a gazetted Public Holiday. However, since it falls on a Sunday, tomorrow shall be a Public Holiday in-lieu. :)
There'll be a "live" telecast of the National Day parade on TV tonight. Interested viewers in Asia will be able to watch it "live" on Channel NewsAsia International from 6.30pm to 8.30pm Singapore/Hong Kong time. I remember how in primary school, come national day, there will be lots of art+craft activities related to the event; quizzes; poetry etc etc. Good times :)
