Sanguine Expectations...

This evening when I came home from work, I saw something from the corner of my eye...Could it be what I've been hoping for? I quickly put down my bag & umbrella to take a look...Yes! It IS what I've been waiting for:

This plant has 'flowered' about 5 times in the past but I managed to see the fully bloomed flowers only ONCE! What about the other 4 times? Well, the buds were snapped off from the plant even before they could bloom! The suspects for these mischiefs - my neighbour's 2 sons. Since the last time they snapped the buds off, the plant has stopped flowering for more than a year already. Hmmph...So angry!

This time, I hope I will get to see the flowers...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my neighbour's sons will not destroy my poor flower buds again. If I'm lucky to see the flowers, I'll let you know how they look like. In the meantime, be patient & keep guessing!
