Not A Very Good Day...

I had to fire a staff today. Though it's not the first time I'm doing this, it was particularly tough this time round as this employee I had to terminate was one of my regular lunch partners. :(

It was not a good day for me today...

Happy National Day!

Singapore celebrates its 44th birthday today, on 9th August 2009.

During this period, you'll see proud Singaporeans displaying the national flag outside their homes.



Today is a gazetted Public Holiday. However, since it falls on a Sunday, tomorrow shall be a Public Holiday in-lieu. :)

There'll be a "live" telecast of the National Day parade on TV tonight. Interested viewers in Asia will be able to watch it "live" on Channel NewsAsia International from 6.30pm to 8.30pm Singapore/Hong Kong time.
